Professor Gunther Teubner is a legal scholar and sociologist, best known for his works on the social theory of law. Having previously taught at the University of Bremen, the European University Institute in Florence, and the London School of Economics, he has been Professor of Private Law and Legal Sociology at the University of Frankfurt since1998.
