Stefano Cumino
I was born in 1984 in Turin, Italy. In 2003 I began my university career at the faculty of Economics of the University of Turin. During these years, I’ve developed an increasing interest in global finance and development policies. I took the degree in Economic Science in 2006 with a final dissertation on the relationship between democracy and economic growth, trying to single out a causal connection between the two elements in both directions, sustaining the analysis with econometric evidence. I am going to complete my master degree in Economics, with a final thesis on IMF policies facing financial crisis and countries responses to Sap.

Giulia Coppo
I was born in Alessandria, in Italy, where I finished my Humanistic Lyceum with the highest marks. I then entered the Turin's Law Faculty, where I'm graduating after completing a five-year programme.
I believe that only a well structured legal reasoning can improve the work of a jurist, not just mere “respect” for a written text (which often means only paying lip service to it), and I therefore decided to take the opportunity to develop my knowledge of law from different perspectives and apply for the IUC.
Cheng Ding
I joined in 2001 a for four-year computer science and technology programme. My courses covered Advanced Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Probability Theory & Mathematical Statistics, Philosophy, and so on. When I was a sophomore I began studying Law. After a year and a half, I finished all the undergraduate courses of law and got a supplementary diploma.
In the campus debate, I won the championship and was awarded the honor of "Outstanding debater" personally. I was then admitted to the Master of Law in 2007 at the Lanzhou University.
Professional learning of law began, which was also what I desired. Furthermore, to improve my logic thinking, I trained for LSAT. During the 2008 summer vacations, I worked for the Dongshi Law Firm, and participated a program in the Intermediate People's Court of Lanzhou City.
I also wrote some articles and one of them was edited by the IUC.
In May, one of my papers was published in the Xibu Politics and Law Forum, which is very important publication in china.
Alessia Miranti
I was born in 1984 in Italy and have grown up next to Turin where I attended a high school focused on humanistic studies. I graduated afterwards from Turin University in 2009 with a Master Degree in Law. I wrote a final thesis in corporate law whose main subject was State owned companies in the public utilities sector. I could, thus, explore some issues concerning the intermixture between public and private law in the present world which I’m very interested in. During my studies I had many opportunities to travel and study abroad: I have been studying for two semesters in France (Socrates-Erasmus Program) and then I took part in several law programs in France, Israel and United Kingdom. I decided to apply for the IUC MSc programme to develop a responsible understanding of new challenges law as a “living instrument” is facing nowadays.
