The goal of the IUC is to help students obtain the broadest multi-disciplinary legal and finance education and to achieve their highest personal career and academic growth goals. In addition, the IUC will continue to explore and expand the frontiers of global scholarship.The IUC Students and faculty:

bullet 2 have contributed to the Global Legal Standards Independent Policy Report: At the End of the End of History. Global Legal Standards. Part of the Solution or Part of the Problem?

bullet 2 are currently engaged in legal and economic research on the “long term” serving as a scientific aide to the Club of the Long Term Investors

bullet 2 are carrying on research and participating in an active campaign to protect water as a common good to be safeguarded in the interest of future generations (www.siacquapubblica.it)

Students are also involved in a variety of capacities, inter alia:

bullet 2 The Common Core of European Private Law, a widely known research project.

bullet 2 The online journal Global Jurist (a leading law journal): the 2007 Global Jurist Medals, sponsored by the IUC, have been awarded.

bullet 2 The NoPro Center: Center for the Comparative Legal and Economic Analysis of the Notary and the Legal Profession (theoretical and practical activities).
