The International University College of Turin (IUC)
Agenda Accademica 2010/2011
is a leading centre for the interdisciplinary and critical study of law, economics and finance. Teachers and students from all over the world gather in Turin to examine the phenomenon of globalization with a focus on the achievable long-term policies to govern its effects. In particular, research at the IUC is exploring the framework of the “Commons,” communally-held tangible and intangible resources (i.e. public water, forests, the atmosphere – but also shared culture, ideas, information, and traditions), as an alternative to the gridlocked public v. private and state controlled v. free market debate.   At the root of these dichotomies is the assumption that ownership -by humans of nature- is not only possible but desirable. Curriculum
 
Together with young promising researchers, academic activities at the IUC of Turin benefit from the involvement of such eminent scholars as Guido Calabresi (former Dean of the Yale School of Law), Duncan Kennedy (Harvard Law School), and Gustavo Zagrebelsky (Emeritus President of the Italian Constitutional Court).

Tuition

Full and partial scholarship opportunities are available. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and need. The Admission Committee will offer scholarship awards (and admissions) for the Master in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance on a rolling basis. Read more...
