Student Life  Turin's cosmopolitan present and historic past combine to form one of the most exciting and alluring Italian cities. Turin's distinctive artistic richness is best seen in opera (Teatro Regio), theater (Teatro Stabile),in a unique way to offer cinema (Cinema Massimo, Museo del Cinema) classical, modern and jazz music (Auditorium del Lingotto, Musica 90, Folk Club). Venues such as Castello di Rivoli, Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo exhibit the best of European artwork, regularly transforming the city into a European capital of contemporary art.  Turin's nightlife is extremely rich and diverse.It starts every evening with one of the most enjoyable Italian food rituals, the "aperitivo" (which was originally invented in Turin). The vibrant atmosphere of friends gathering can be experienced in the many bars and public spaces located within one of the most ancient parts of town (Quadrilatero Romano, Borgo Dora).
