The inauguration of the Academic Year of the International University College

took place in Turin on March 9 at the Circolo dei Lettori, Via Bogino 9, Turin.
The academic program, held in English, consisted of a Lecture by Professor Giuliano Amato, former Italian Prime Minister, and Professor at the European University Institute, titled "Is Big Government Back?", introduced by Ugo Mattei (the IUC Academic Coordinator). It was followed by a speach of Professor Ian Toporowski (financial economist at SOAS, London and IUC), and of Ryan Foley (MsCLEF candidate at the IUC).
The IUC President, Professor Stefano Rodotà, closed the event, which was chaired by Angelo Benessia, President of the Compagnia di San Paolo.
