Bio: Luwam Dirar is a J.S.D. Candidate at Cornell Law School. She obtained her LL.M. degree from Cornell Law School (2009). Prior to that, she worked as a legal advisor at the Ministry of Justice of the State of Eritrea and clerked for Justice Habteab Yemane of the High Court of Eritrea. Luwam received her LL.B. from University of Asmara, Eritrea with honors and with the third highest grade in her class. Currently, she is a J.S.D. editor at Cornell Law School and Leo and Arvilla Berger International Studies Fellow. Her J.S.D. research project deals with the impact of Economic Partnership Agreements on regional integration and development in Southern African Countries.
