Bashar H. Malkawi is an IUC Faculty Member and faculty of Department of Private Law, at the University of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates..
He teaches different topics such as Islamic law, business law, and international trade. He holds an LLB from Yarmouk University, an LLM from the University of Arizona, and a JSD from the College of Law at the American University in Washington, D.C.
He has acted as reviewer for several leading US law journals, and participated in several international donor-funded projects and programs with the goal of attracting foreign investment and advancing legal reforms in the Middle East. Prof. Malkawi is the author of more than 30 articles on law and related issues.
